Google, Medstro and MedTech Boston are excited to announce that the “Wearables in Healthcare Pilot Challenge” is now open for submissions. Clinicians, inventors and entrepreneurs from around the world can compete for a variety of prizes including cash and wearable devices. Even more prizes will be announced throughout January. The winner of each individual prize will be invited to Google’s Boston headquarters in April to compete in a live “pitch-off” event to pick the grand prize winner. If you remember last year’s amazing Google Glass Challenge, this year’s event will be even bigger with amazing keynotes and a chance to network with the leading clinicians and developers in the country. Also, this year’s event isn’t limited to Google or Android-based products—you can use any wearable technology you like!
