Brigham and Women’s Hospital Hackathon 2015

November 6, 2015 - November 7, 2015

The BWH Hackathon by Brigham Innovation Hub in collaboration with MIT Hacking Medicine will bring together inventive, forward-thinking minds to change the status quo and create disruptive solutions in healthcare today, focused on digital health.  A hackathon is an event in which clinicians, programmers, designers, entrepreneurs, and others collaborate intensively on health tech projects. Our Hackathon will bring together a diverse, multidisciplinary group to “pitch” problems impacting healthcare, develop solutions over a two-day period, and then present demos to a panel of judges for recognition and honors.

End the weekend with a team, new connections, and prizes with potential access to BWH’s Innovation Hub resources, and a hack on its first steps towards disrupting healthcare. Past teams at hackathons just like this one have gone on to found companies, enter business plan competitions (MIT 100K), join an accelerator, and secure venture funding. This year, the event will also feature the Open.Epic Challenge track with Epic and Microsoft Azure. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis, apply now!
